536 new cases and 11 deaths of COVID-19 were registered in northwestern Syria

The Early Warning Network recorded in its latest statistics in the 15th of October, 536 new infections with Coronavirus in northwestern Syria, bringing the number of infections to 81,295.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 536 coronavirus cases were recorded, after 1093 new analyses were conducted, while the recovery cases mounted to 46,818 after 295 recovery cases were recorded.

According to the observatory, the number of coronavirus-related deaths mounted to 1,555, after 11 new deaths were recorded.

Warnings about the repercussions of the pandemic outbreak in northern Syria are mounting due to the overcrowding in the region, especially in displacement camps.
