985 new cases of corona virus yesterday in northwestern Syria

Yesterday, Tuesday, northwestern Syria recorded 985 new infections with the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 32,438 since the virus began spreading.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 985 cases of coronavirus were recorded yesterday, after 2243 new analyzes were conducted, while the recovery cases rose to 23,879 after 73 cases of recovery were recorded, 64 of them in Idlib governorate, and 9 cases in my regions.

The infections were distributed among the cities and towns of Idlib Governorate, so that the governorate recorded 758 new injuries in a high curve of the number of injuries during the current month, including 427 infections in the Harem region and 102 in the city of Idlib, while the cities and towns of the northern and eastern Aleppo countryside recorded 227 injuries, 115 of them in the Afrin region and 51 infections in
Jarablus city.

The observatory indicated that 4 infections were recorded for workers in the health sector, while 7 cases were accepted in hospitals, all of whom were not vaccinated with the first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine, noting that 153 cases were registered for the displaced within the camps in northwestern Syria.

The past 24 hours have not recorded any deaths, so the number of deaths remains 746 since the virus began spreading in northwestern Syria, according to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory.

And the past days have recorded the registration of several cases of the new mutation of the Corona virus “Delta”, which is the mutated mutation of the virus that is characterized by its rapid spread, unlike “Alpha”, according to the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory.

For its part, the Syria Vaccine Team said that the second campaign of vaccination campaigns against the Corona virus was launched last Saturday morning, and the campaign will target humanitarian workers, chronic disease owners of all ages, the elderly, and workers in public affairs.
It is noteworthy that the number of analyzes that were conducted in northwestern Syria reached 188,969 after 2243 analyzes were conducted yesterday.
