A report reveals international understanding and coordination to limit Iranian influence in Syria
“Al-Araby Al-Jadeed” website revealed in a report that there are understandings between Israel and the United States on the one hand, and Russia on the other, with the aim of limiting Iranian influence in Syria.
This comes through aerial bombardment by Israeli fighters on Iranian targets throughout the country, in exchange for giving the Russians a free hand in the political process, to impose their vision of a solution based on keeping Bashar al-Assad in power.
The report stressed that the US administration remained silent about the statements of the Russian President’s envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, about a new constitution for Syria that does not aim to change the Assad regime in the country.
The report indicated that Joe Biden does not show interest in the Syrian issue, despite the passage of nearly a year since his inauguration as President of the United States.
