An upcoming meeting will be held between Russia and Israel to coordinate the situation between the two sides in Syria

The “Times of Israel” website said, in a report, that an upcoming meeting will be held between Russia and Israel in Tel Aviv, to coordinate the situation between the two sides in Syria.

According to the report, a Russian delegation will arrive to Israel on Thursday to attend a meeting for security coordination in Syria. This is the first meeting since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.  

The meeting is being scheduled as United States of America and other Western countries are pressuring Israel to take a clear position on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine while Israel rejecting that for many reasons the most important is the security coordination with Russia in Syria to hit the Iranian positioning.

From time to time, Israel targets military sites of the Assad regime forces and the Iranian militias stationing in Syria.
