Protests took place in Jaramana city in Damascus countryside due to deteriorating the living conditions and devaluation of the Syrian pound

Protests took place on July 23 in Jaramana city in Damascus countryside, calling for overthrowing the Assad regime and rejecting the deteriorating living conditions against the backdrop of collapsing the Lira amid the deployment of security forces and heavy machines in the area.

Two groups of young men were fighting with fists and white arms in addition to using guns and grenades in Jaramana city.

A young man was killed and many shops were broken due to the clashes in addition to blocking the roads leading to the neighborhood in the city.

The Assad regime’s loyal news site “Athar Press” cited the head of the Jaramana city council as saying: “The quarrel occurred between young men from the city of Jaramana and others from its camp. The protests occurred because a young man from Jaramana city was shot dead by a man from Jaramana camp.”

It is noteworthy that Assad regime-areas suffer from the widely spread of crimes, robbery gangs, and drug trade in its streets, despite the presence of dozens of security services there, but they are witnessing a state of security chaos, and possession of weapons by civilians.
