Erdogan: We have prevented the entry of 143,000 irregular migrants into Turkey, and we continue to build houses in northern Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Tuesday that they are continuing to build the houses in northern Syria backed by Qatar state.

This announcement came during a graduation ceremony of the Turkish Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy officers in the capital Ankara.

Erdogan said: “We have intensified the taken measures against human traffickers inside the country and on the border line, since the beginning of this year, we have prevented the entry of 143,000 irregular migrants into Turkey.”

Erdogan added that “we have deported 25,000 out of 61,000 irregular migrants during the last two and a half months.”

Erdogan pointed out that at the time all kinds of measures are taken against irregular immigration, his country welcomes its foreign guests who contribute the Turkish economy.

Erdogan affirmed that we can’t allow the racism and xenophobia, which have no place in our history, culture, and beliefs, to spread in our community.

Erdogan emphasized that his country will not allow a few ignorant people to tarnish the clean record of Turkey, which has been a sanctuary for the oppressed for centuries.

Erdogan pointed out that participation in terrorist organizations has plunged to its lowest level, pointing out that 45 people fled from the separatist terrorist organization recently and returned to their families.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan comes a day after the “Turkey” newspaper published a report saying that Arab businessmen are intensifying the transfer of their projects outside Turkey with the escalation of hostility targeting Arabs and the racist incitement taking place in the country, causing losses to Turkey amounting to $2 billion.
