Today, Friday, the Syria Response Coordinators team documented that 23 camps in the liberated north of Syria had been damaged as a result of rainfalls during the past 36 hours, confirming that there was no response from the organizations to these camps.

This came in a statement by the Response Coordinators Team, in which it said that most of the camps were severely damaged, indicating that the major damage occurred in the areas of Maarat Misrin, Idlib centers, Atma camps and parts of the western countryside camps of the governorate.

The team confirmed that the total number of damaged tents reached 49, in addition to 107 tents partially damaged by the rainstorm.

He added that the people in the affected camps are in urgent need of 100% rain insulators, 98% heating materials, as well as 93% food and 100% hygiene supplies, especially after the number of Corona injuries in the camps exceeded the two thousand cases.

At the end of his statement, the Syria Response Coordinators indicated that, until now, there is no actual or complete response to those affected by the rainstorm, expecting that the humanitarian response and repair of the damage will begin after the rainfalls have completely stopped in the liberated north.
