5 Deaths and 115 Covid-19 cases were recorded in northwest Syria

Yesterday, northwestern Syria recorded more than 110 coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 91,666 since the virus began spreading.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 115 coronavirus cases were recorded on Monday, November 22, after 522 new analyzes were conducted, while the number of people recovered reached 265, 208 of them in Idlib governorate, and 57 in the “Olive Branch” and “Euphrates Shield” areas, bringing the number to 59,511 recovery cases.

The infections were distributed among the cities and towns of Idlib Governorate, so that the governorate recorded 67 infections, while the cities and towns of the northern and eastern Aleppo countryside recorded 48 cases.

While the past hours recorded 5 deaths, bringing the number of deaths to 2,147 deaths since the virus began spreading in northwest Syria, according to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory.

The observatory stated that the percentage of positivity among the cases amounted to 22% of the total 115 infections.

It is noteworthy that the number of analyzes that have been conducted has reached 313,414 since the pandemic outbreak in the middle of last year.
