Today, Monday, the teams of Syria Response Coordinators warned of an explosion in the numbers of Coronavirus cases in northern Syria, after high rates of infections were recorded during the month of May.

The team explained that the total number of injuries from the beginning of the month to 23 of it reached 777, and the following regions recorded the highest rates of infection according to the following distribution: Al-Bab area 223, Afrin area 170, Azaz area 98, Harem area 82, Idlib region 65, as for medical personnel
So 24 were recorded, and in the camp areas 74.

The team also recommended that residents apply special measures to combat the virus for fear of the number of infections exploding further, and ushering in a new wave of the spread of the Corona virus in the region.

The Early Warning Network recorded 86 new cases of Coronavirus in northwestern Syria, yesterday, Sunday, bringing the number of recorded infections to 22727, and the network recorded 29 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 20508 cases, and the network did not record any new deaths from the Corona virus, so that the death toll remains.
