The return of escalation to Daraa city after the visit of Assad regime’s Defense minister to the province
Clashes took place at midnight on Monday/Tuesday between the people of the besieged neighborhoods in Daraa city, the forces of the Assad regime and the Iranian militias, in an attempt to advance and control the area.
The “Ahrar Houran Gathering” said on its Facebook page: “The fighters from the besieged neighborhoods in the city of Daraa managed to destroy a military vehicle of the Assad regime forces while they were confronting an attempt to advance on the axis of Al-Manshiyah neighborhood in the Daraa Al-Balad area.”
Al-Tajamo’ added, “The people of the towns of Sidon and the Western Raid, east of Daraa, were able to close the Damascus-Amman International Road in support of Daraa Al-Balad.”
