The revolutionary factions fail an attempt to infiltrate the Assad regime forces in Jabal Al-Zawiya

Today, Tuesday, the revolutionary factions repelled an infiltration attempt by the Assad regime’s forces in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.

Our correspondent said that the revolutionary factions managed to repel an infiltration attempt by the Assad regime forces on the axis of the village of al-Ruwaiha, north of the city of Maarat al-Numan in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Our correspondent explained that clashes with light and medium weapons took place on the Al-Ruwaiha axis for about an hour, during which the revolutionary factions were able to repel and thwart the infiltration attempt, without receiving information about deaths and injuries among the Assad regime forces.

Yesterday, Monday, the sniper squadron in the operations room of the revolutionary factions managed to snipe an element of the Assad regime forces who tried to infiltrate an advanced point in the front of the city of Saraqib, east of Idlib.

In the past months, the revolutionary factions had previously repelled infiltration attempts by the Assad regime forces on the axes and fronts of Idlib countryside.
Violations of the Assad regime forces and their Russian ally are escalating in the ceasefire agreement in the liberated areas in northern Syria, despite Russia’s being a partner with Turkey in the ceasefire agreement reached on March 5, 2020.
