4 deaths and 1127 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in northwest Syria

Yesterday, northwest Syrian regions registered 1127 new cases of Covid-19 bringing the total number of infections to 51652 cases since the spread of the virus.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network that 1127 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded yesterday after 2143 new tests were conducted, while the recovery cases has risen to27488 cases after 258 recovery cases were registered.

According to the observatory, Coronavirus related-deaths have risen to 865 after recording four deaths.

While the network recorded 159 new cases in the liberated “Peace Spring” areas in the northeast of the country, and the infections reached 5,652 cases, 1249 cases of recovery and 41 deaths.
The health authorities in northern Syria had warned of an accelerating spread of “Corona” virus in the region, stressing the need to strictly follow the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the pandemic.
