Assad regime forces start deploying in Tafas city after hundreds of people having settled their security situations

On Monday morning, the Assad regime forces began their deployment in the neighborhoods of Tafas city, after completing “settlements” for hundreds of city’s residents, and handing over a number of weapons.

SOHR sources in Daraa have reported that regime forces started inspecting the civilians’ houses in Tafas city in the western countryside of Daraa in accordance with the agreement between the regime security committee and Russian officers on one hand, and dignitaries and of Tafas city on the other, which stipulates for inspecting the city’s houses and confiscating weapons if found.

While an audio clip was published on groups via “WhatsApp” application of a member of the Assad regime Central Committee, Musab al-Bardan, in which he said, “The army will deploy in the city this morning, asking the people to lead a normal life, and for each person to carry his identity card.”

Yesterday, the “settlement” operations in the city of Tafas, which lasted for two days, ended, and the Assad regime forces received 100 light weapons.

Daraa governorate is witnessing military tensions, through which the Assad regime forces imposed a military siege on the city of Daraa al-Balad, in addition to military reinforcements in the vicinity of the city and the vicinity of the town of Yaduda, which resulted in clashes and attempts to storm the city of Daraa al-Balad by the regime forces that lasted for more than two months, ending with an agreement in early September Present.
