Süleyman Soylu: We are committed to the international resolutions related to the Syrian refugees

Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu affirmed on Saturday that his country is committed to international resolutions related to Syrian refugees.

Soylu said that “Turkey has not and will not turn its back on the Syrian brothers who came from the war zones in Syria.”

Soylu explained that Turkey will establish residential areas in Jarabulus, al-Bab, Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad for voluntary returnees, pointing out that the returnees to Syria will be able to visit Turkey after obtaining the necessary permits, according to Syria TV.

Soylu indicated that 3,630,000 Syrians who have been displaced from their country live in Turkey, and there are 700,000 Syrian children in Turkey who go to school.

He stressed that Turkey and its security forces will not allow any operation to disturb the public security.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has previously declared a plan to return about 1 million Syrian refugees to northern Syria, which are considered unsafe areas for being targeted by the Assad regime forces and their allies.
