Today, Tuesday, Russian warplanes target several areas in the countryside of Idlib, Hama and Latakia.

Our correspondent said: “The Russian warplanes launched air strikes targeting the hills of Al-Kabinah town, north of Lattakia, and the vicinity of Al-Sarmaniyah and Dower Al-Akrad villages in Al-Ghab Plain, west of Hama.”

He added: “Similar air bombardment targeted the southwestern outskirts of Al-Bara town in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idlib.”

The reporter pointed out that the air strikes did not result in civilians casualties just material ones in the targeted areas.

The Russian warplanes have increased the frequency of air strikes during the past days, on several areas in the de-escalation zone included in the agreement of the fifth of March last year.

This morning witnessed sporadic artillery shelling by the Assad regime forces on the villages of “Al-Fatirah” and “Sfuhun” south of Idlib, and the town of “Bdama” affiliated to the city of Jisr Al-Shughur, in the west of the province.

The increasing attacks of the Assad regime forces on the de-escalation zone have killed more than 83 civilians, including 24 children and 16 women, and two members of the Civil Defense, in addition to documenting 7 massacres in Idlib countryside since the beginning of last June, according to a previous statistic by the Syrian Civil Defense Organization.

The de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria is witnessing a military escalation by the Assad regime forces, in the countryside of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Latakia.
