The fall of a Russian military helicopter and the killing of the pilot in northeastern Syria

A Russian military helicopter fell today, Sunday, to the west of “Tal Tamr” district in the countryside of Al-Hasakah governorate.

Activists reported that the Russian helicopter fell between the villages of “Rayhaniyya and Qasimia,” located to the west of “Tal Tamr” district, in the countryside of Hasakah, in the northeast of the country.

The Assad regime’s SANA agency reported the crash of the plane, and said that it fell between the villages of al-Rihaniyya and al-Qasimiya, which are located west of Tal Tamr in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka, and confirmed the death of the pilot and the injury of other crew members.
