The response coordinators team said today, Saturday, in a statement, that the bombing of the Assad regime, which affected several areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, caused a new wave of displacement in the residential neighborhoods in the villages.

The statement explained that the displacement movement was concentrated during the last 24 hours from the villages and towns of Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, where field teams documented the displacement of 1,867 civilians towards relatively safe villages and towns far from the areas targeted by the regime, and the statement documented 74 air and ground attacks during the 48 hours.

The last one, in which Russian planes participated.
The statement called on all parties concerned with the Syrian file to work to stop the violations of the Assad regime and Russia, targeting residential neighborhoods, and stopping escalation so that civilians can return to their areas and settle there.

The response team appealed to humanitarian organizations to assist the newly displaced who fled the regime’s bombing and to provide them with the necessary assistance until stability is achieved and their return to their areas.
