1478 new cases of corona in northwest Syria

The Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the “Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network EWARN” program recorded 1,478 new cases of coronavirus in the liberated north of Syria.

According to the laboratory the registration of new infections, the total number has raised to 48,73 cases, 26,488 cases of recovery, and 831 deaths.”

He added that, the number of cases tested during the past hours amounted to 2810, bringing the total number of cases tested to 224,178 thousand tests in northern Syria.

And the health authorities in northern Syria had warned of an accelerating spread of the “Corona” virus in the region, stressing the need to strictly follow the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the pandemic.
