The Interim Government announces the reduction of registration fees at the Free Aleppo University for certain

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Syrian Interim Government announced a reduction in fees imposed on direct registration at the Free Aleppo University, noting that the reduction would include several categories.

Prime Minister Abd al-Rahman Mustafa issued Resolution No. 37, which stipulated the reduction of university fees for the children of martyrs, detainees, people with special needs, the widow of the martyr of the revolution, children of people with special needs, sons and wives of administrative staff at the university, and siblings.

According to the decision, the reduction will be 50 percent for the children of martyrs, widows of the martyrs of the revolution, children of detainees and people with special needs, and 25 percent for the remaining categories covered by the decision.

The decision comes days after the Free Aleppo University issued a trade-off for direct registration for the new academic year 2021-2022, but with high fees, unlike last year, which led to protests by students to demand a reversal of the decision to raise registration prices.
