After the truce agreement, an attempt to advance by the Assad regime forces in Daraa al-Balad was repelled

Yesterday, Sunday, the people of Daraa Al-Balad repelled an attempt to advance by the Assad regime forces on several axes in the region, despite the Central Committee and representatives from Russia reaching a calm, opening the way for the Russian leadership in Damascus to consider the outstanding differences.

The attempt to advance was also accompanied by violent clashes on the axis of Al-Manshiyya neighborhood, the Al-Masry gas station and in the Al-Bahar area, coinciding with shelling with mortar shells targeting the besieged neighborhoods.

The latest attempt to advance is the third since the recent events in Daraa erupted, during which the Assad regime forces sustained losses in life and equipment.
These developments come after the Central Committee and the Russian officer called “Assad Allah” reached a new truce agreement in Daraa Al-Balad yesterday evening, where the Russian officer is supposed to raise the demands of the centralization to his command in the capital, Damascus.

Since last Thursday, Daraa has witnessed rapid developments after the Assad regime forces attempted to storm the neighborhoods of Daraa, which includes 11,000 families from 3 axes, as the Assad regime violated a previous agreement reached with the Central Committee on July 26.
