12-year-old girl was killed and others were injured in Assad regime shelling on Idleb countryside

A 12-year-old girl was killed and others were injured on Monday morning by Assad regime shelling on the surrounding of Sarmin city in eastern Idleb countryside.

Radio Fresh’s correspondent said the 12-year-old girl displaced yesterday on Sep. 3, from Afes town to Sarmin city due to the shelling that targeted the town.

The Russian warplanes launched a double airstrike on the vicinity of Balshon town in Jabal Al-Zawiya in Idleb southern countryside, however no civilian casualties were reported.

The correspondent said that the Assad regime forces targeted with dozens of missiles and artillery shells the town of Balyoun in Jabal Al-Zawiya, south of Idleb.

The correspondent added that the towns of Kafr Aweed and Fleifel in Idleb southern countryside were subjected to similar artillery shelling. No casualties were recorded.

The correspondent reported that violent clashes took place between the revolutionary factions and Assad regime forces on Kafr Taal axis, in western Aleppo, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling on Kafr Ameh town in western Aleppo countryside.

The region of northwestern Syria has been witnessing a mutual artillery and missile shelling between the revolutionary factions and Assad regime forces. The regime forces have been targeting the villages and towns in the southern and eastern Idleb countryside and the northern and western Aleppo countryside.
