A martyr and a number of wounded in the intensive bombing of the neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad

This morning, the Assad regime forces targeted all the besieged neighborhoods of Daraa Al-Balad with rocket launchers, artillery shells, mortars, and heavy machine guns, leaving a martyr and a number of civilians wounded.

The violent bombardment led to the death of Muhammad Hilal Zatima, nicknamed “Abu Muhannad,” the former leader of the Al-Tawhid Brigade of the Free Army, and the injury of a number of other civilians, including critical cases.

Activists said: “This bombing is the most severe and violent since the siege was imposed on the area, stressing that this bombing was aimed at breaking the resolve of the people of Daraa Al-Balad to force them to agree to Russia’s impossible conditions.”

Violent clashes also took place on a number of axes of Daraa al-Balad, after the forces of the Fourth Division attempted to advance, and they sustained losses in life and equipment.

It is noteworthy that Daraa al-Balad has been besieged for 59 days, with civilians suffering from severe shortages of food, water, and medicine, and the wounded who fell yesterday and the past days do not find medical care due to the lack of doctors, or even medicine, surgical tools and sutures.
